- 20 Aug 2026dronesNight of 20 August: Ukraine's General Staff confirmed a strike on the Tamanneftegaz oil loading terminal (OTEKO group) near the village of Volna, Temryuk district — a fire was recorded. The terminal transships up to 19.9 million tonnes of crude, petroleum products and liquefied hydrocarbons a year and remains the largest private oil transshipment facility in southern Russia; its tank farm holds over 1 million cubic metres. The fire near the terminal was corroborated by NASA FIRMS satellite data. The Krasnodar Krai emergency headquarters reported a fire "at a facility of an enterprise" in Volna, attributing it to falling drone debris and saying the blaze was promptly extinguished with no casualties. This is the second strike on the terminal in three weeks — the previous one was on 30 July.
