- 23 Aug 2026dronesNight of 23 August: drones attacked Orenburg — the governor, Yevgeny Solntsev, said "industrial enterprises were the target". Mayor Albert Yumadilov said several UAVs were shot down over the Orenburzhye special economic zone and that debris fell on the Ozon logistics complex: a fire broke out and was put out by emergency services, more than 300 employees were evacuated within minutes, no one was hurt. Ozon suspended the warehouse indefinitely; routes to and from it were cancelled and redistributed to other sites. This is the second Ozon warehouse in two days, after Chapayevsk near Samara on the night of 22 August.
