Strike history

4 Sep 2026dronesNight of 4 September: during a mass drone attack on Sochi and the federal territory of Sirius, an S-300 or S-400 air-defence battery was hit. OSINT analysis of eyewitness video by the outlet ASTRA reported a large fire with detonations after a series of explosions. Sources name only the area — Sirius by the Psou river on the border with occupied Abkhazia — with no address; the point is placed at the centre of the village of Vesyoloye on the Psou. Russian authorities did not comment on the strike on air defences.
