- 30 Aug 2026dronesNight of 30 August: drones struck the Millerovo military airfield in Rostov Oblast. Ukraine's General Staff reported a fire at the airfield and hits on ammunition depots and the technical maintenance unit; the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces named the DRL-27 module of the RSP-27 landing radar system as the main target and said five air-defence assets had been destroyed at the two airfields attacked that night — a Pantsir-S gun-missile system and the Sopka-2, Kasta 2E2, RSP-27 and Nebo-SV radars. NASA FIRMS imagery confirms a fire at the airfield. Governor Yuri Slyusar reported only that some 15 drones had been downed over the Millerovo and Tarasovsky districts and over the Gulf of Taganrog; the Russian authorities did not acknowledge a hit on the airfield.
